You can bring your own cigars to 1824, which tells you what kind of lounge it is. It's in Salcedo Village, dark and quiet inside, more of a sit-and-talk place than a night out. Open Monday to Saturday, 4pm to midnight. Smart casual.
The whisky list is the point here, mostly Scottish single malts with some Irish too. Cocktails are around P500, beer P400. For food there's sisig, pizza and tuna steak. Get the sapin-sapin ice cream, even if you're not drinking. Music's disco, kept low.
