Club ZZYZX

Malate has plenty of clubs, and Club ZZYZX is the one you pick when you don't want to be squeezed shoulder to shoulder. It's a proper nightclub, open daily until 6AM, with enough room to stand around and talk.

The music is the best part. House, hip-hop, EDM and mainstream, plus a section dedicated to Chinese music. Stick to beer. People say the cocktails aren't worth what they charge. There's a P1000 minimum spend, so plan for that.

Friday and Saturday are your nights, though some Saturdays run quiet. Mix of locals and foreigners, mostly people who want to dance without the crush.
