The Scene
Engkanto's own bar sits at NBS Park in Mandaluyong, near Greenfield. It's a gastropub, casual and open, the kind of place you walk into straight from work and stay four hours.
The beer is the point. Get the Honey Ale, or order a flight and work through it. Cocktails start around P160 and the Bee's Knees is the one people come back for. Food's solid too, the Croquetas Gonzalez are P275, plus sisig and nachos. Happy hour is 3 to 6PM Sunday to Thursday, buy one take one on beers. DJs play house Friday and Saturday.
