The Scene

Despite the name, Forbidden Club is a pretty relaxed bar. Doors open at 8PM in Calamba, Laguna, and it stays open until 4AM, so there's no rush. Inside it's dark and casual, tables close together.

Beer by the bucket is the usual move, with food to go along with it. Nothing here costs more than it should. The music picks up as the night goes, but you can still hear your own table.

Mostly young barkadas and locals doing the after-dinner round. Closed Mondays, so plan around that.
