Ruby Wong's Godown

Malate has plenty of loud options, and Ruby Wong's Godown isn't one of them. It's a cocktail bar, dim and low-key, the kind of place where you can actually hear each other. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 5PM till 1AM.

The cocktails are the reason to come, made properly rather than fast. There's food if you get hungry. Music stays in the background so conversation wins over the speakers.

It draws couples on dates, small groups of friends, and people who work nearby and want one good drink after. Older than the Malate student crowd. Come early for a seat at the bar.
