You get in through a barbershop. Sweeney Todd is a speakeasy cocktail bar in Makati behind a secret door, done up in a gothic Demon Barber theme. Inside it's dark and comfortable, with leather sofas you can sink into for a few hours.
Cocktails are the point here, around P400, beer P240. Order a meat pie while you're at it. It fits the theme and it's genuinely good. Jazz plays in the background, never loud enough to shout over.
Smart casual, mixed crowd, couples and small groups more than big nights out. One tip: go for the bar. The barbershop side gets mixed reviews.
