The Barn

The Barn keeps daytime hours for a Malate bar. Open from 10AM, closed by midnight. That makes it more of an afternoon beer place than a late night one. Casual inside, nothing dressed up about it.

Beer and simple drinks, cheap enough that a long afternoon doesn't hurt. There's food if you want to make a meal of it. Music stays low, so you can actually hear the person across the table.

Older regulars, people stretching out a long lunch, and friends who'd rather drink at 4PM than 2AM. Quiet on weekdays, busier once work lets out.
