Ten in the morning to five in the morning is a serious set of hours. The CAGE is a sports bar in San Mateo that's basically always open, screens on, beer cold. It's plain and functional, which is exactly what you want from one.
Beer and bar food carry it. Bring a group, grab a table under a screen, order things to share. On game nights the whole room is watching the same thing and reacting together.
Sports crowd first, barkadas second. You'll see people stopping in at noon and people still sitting there at 4AM.
