Cheap, open almost all day, and serious about beer. Tresto Pub in Los Banos runs 10AM to 3AM, with a craft list and no attitude about it. Small room, plain tables, easy to walk into alone.
Beer's the main thing, local craft plus the usual bottles, and it's easy on the wallet. There's food if you get hungry, pulutan built for sharing. Music's low enough that talking wins over the speakers.
