A tiny, long-running Tomas Morato bar where the crowd, mostly millennials and Gen X, sings their hearts out as long as the orders keep coming. Warm and welcoming, right down to the resident grey cat. It's cramped and there's often just one server, but regulars have kept coming for over a decade.

The Scene

Open 8PM to 5AM every night, Butterfly Manila is the bar in Tomas Morato for when you're not done yet. It's casual and chill inside, more sitting and talking than dancing. Prices are mid-range, nothing scary.

Beer and basic cocktails, plus food if you get hungry. The music stays at a level where you can still hold a conversation. It's the kind of bar you settle into for a few hours rather than pass through.

Regulars, barkadas, and people who wandered over from the other Morato bars. Late at night it skews older, once everywhere else has closed.
