The Scene
Dr. Wine is the BGC branch of the Poblacion original, a French restaurant and wine bar in one. It opens at 7AM, so you can come for a croissant and coffee or stay til 2AM. Some nights there's a live band.
Wine by the glass is the main event, but the sangria and cocktails hold up too, around P400. The food is the other reason to go. Steak comes out tender, and the tuna poke bowl and prawn pasta are solid. Skip the escargot platter. Happy hour runs 3PM to 7PM.
