Laong Laan Bar and Restaurant

You go to Laong Laan in Calamba for a long, unhurried dinner that turns into drinks. It's a restobar that's more restaurant than bar, bright, casual, easy to bring anyone to. Doors close at 10PM, so it's an early night.

Beer and basic mixed drinks are what people order. The food does the heavy lifting, grilled plates and rice meant for the middle of the table. Just order a lot. Music's on but nobody's dancing.

Barkadas and families, mostly. Office groups after work, plus people who came to eat and stayed for another round.
