Prima Facie

You get in through a secret door inside Vitto's Wine Bar on Tomas Morato. Prima Facie is a 1920s style speakeasy, dark wood and Art Deco, low light and low volume. It feels like a different building once you're through.

Cocktails are the focus here, made properly and priced to match. Jazz and blues play all night, kept soft. There's food from the restaurant side if you want something with your drinks.

Open from 6PM on weekdays and from the afternoon Friday to Sunday. It's a thirties-and-up crowd in QC, couples on dates and office people who came for a good drink.
