Twelve seats, hidden inside the original Max's Restaurant on Tomas Morato. Ruby's QC is named after Ruby Trota, the woman who created Max's fried chicken. It's small and quiet, the sort of bar where the bartender talks you through the drink.
The cocktails get creative. The Maximo is a dirty martini made with chicken broth, which sounds odd and works. They do coffee too, and bar chow if you want something to pick at. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 5PM to midnight.
