Taggo Bar is a numan spot on Tomas Morato, the kind of place you settle into for a few hours. It's homey more than fancy. Wooden tables, low light, jazz playing at a volume you can talk over.

The kitchen does international comfort food, and there's beer, liquor and cocktails at fair prices. Nothing on the menu tries too hard. Order a round, order some food, stay put.

It draws a chill crowd. Office people after work, small barkadas, couples who want to sit and eat. One heads up, it's not Tago Jazz Cafe in Cubao. Different place entirely.
