Bulacan Bars & Clubs

There are two main roads in. NLEX and MacArthur Highway run north through Valenzuela, Meycauayan, Marilao, Balagtas and Guiguinto toward Malolos. NLEX has exits at Meycauayan, Marilao and Balagtas, and a Guiguinto exit at the end of the Tabang spur.

San Jose del Monte is on its own road. Take Quirino Highway north from QC through Novaliches.

There's no train out here, so it's Grab or your own car. From QC, plan on 30 minutes to Valenzuela and over an hour to Malolos or SJDM on a Friday.

Weekends are the nights. The restobars work any evening, but the clubs fill up after 11 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Closing times we know: BarRocks Guiguinto at 4AM, 427 SUPERCLUB and Gen Z Bar & Lounge at 3AM, VC Tipsy Bar at 3AM, Elyas at midnight. HAPAG in Meycauayan doesn't close.

Dress is casual almost everywhere. Closed shoes are safer at the clubs.

Cash and GCash are the norm. Don't count on cards at the smaller places.

You'll probably drive, so pick a designated driver or leave the car and Grab home. Grab can take longer to find you late at night out here.
