Quezon City Bars & Clubs
66 venues · Updated November 2026
Quezon City is the north's big night out, and it's spread over a few separate pockets. Tomas Morato is the main strip, with oaktop on the roof, Wrong Door for cocktails and clubs like Hydro and Rampa. Katipunan is the student strip by Ateneo and UP. Maginhawa and the Teachers Village streets in Diliman have small cocktail bars like Never Strangers and Mugen. Scout Tobias has ReCraft, Cubao has Tago Jazz, and Eastwood has an Irish pub. Drinks cost less than Makati. Almost nothing charges at the door, and casual is fine nearly everywhere. Pick a pocket and stay there, because the drives between them add up.

Getting to Quezon City
The MRT runs along EDSA on the west side of QC. Get off at GMA Kamuning for Tomas Morato and the Scout streets, or Cubao for Cubao. LRT-2 crosses the east side, with stops at Cubao, Anonas and Katipunan.
The districts are far apart, so plan on Grab between them. Tomas Morato to Katipunan or Cubao is 15 to 20 minutes. From Makati or BGC, give it 45 minutes to an hour on a Friday night.
Parking is easier than in Makati. Most bars on Tomas Morato have a lot. In Maginhawa and Teachers Village it's street parking, and it fills up on weekends.
Before you go
Friday and Saturday are the big nights everywhere. Katipunan and Maginhawa get busy from Thursday because of the school week, and they go quiet over semester breaks.
Most bars close at 1 or 2am. The Tomas Morato clubs run to 5 or 6am, a couple go later, and Chill Top KTV never closes.
Dress code is casual. Shorts and sneakers are fine in nearly every bar. A few clubs want closed shoes.
Cash and GCash work everywhere. Cards work at the bigger places and at most of the small cocktail bars in Maginhawa and Diliman.
The main avenues are lit and busy late. The side streets in the Scout area and Teachers Village are residential and quiet, so book your Grab from inside the bar.
