Escapee Speakeasy
QC (Diliman) · Cocktail bar
Hidden speakeasy on Malingap. Sister to Noki Japanese Fried Chicken. Great food (Tori Katsudon), Amaretto cocktail, low-key chill vibe.
The Scene
Malingap Street is busy and loud, and Escapee Speakeasy is the door you duck into to get away from it. Small, dim and low key, over in Diliman. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there.
Cocktails are about P300 and the Amaretto is the easy pick, sweet and smooth. They do mocktails too. The food comes from Noki next door, so get the Tori Katsudon. It's crispy and the serving is generous. Beers are around P180.
Mostly students and young QC people, plus couples who want somewhere quiet. It's a sit down and talk bar, not a party.
