A small, exclusive-feeling lounge and bistro in Katipunan where the food carries as much weight as the drinks — chicken parmesan, steak, calamares, and a banana rum regulars single out. It's leaned more into bar territory lately. Cozy, well-liked, and worth a reservation given the size.
The Scene
Katipunan doesn't have many rooms like this one. 225 Lounge is the lounge side of 225 Bistro, done up nicer than the student spots down the road. Soft light, proper chairs, the kind of place you settle into for a few hours.
Cocktails and wine get most of the orders, and there's real food from the kitchen if you want a meal with it. Music stays in the background. Nobody's shouting across the table here.
The crowd runs older than the campus crowd nearby. People from the offices around QC, couples on quiet dates, families out for a nicer dinner that turns into drinks.
