Cheshire Speakeasy

The Alice in Wonderland thing could have been corny, but Cheshire pulls it off. It's a small speakeasy-style cocktail bar in Poblacion, dark and a bit theatrical, and you sit close enough to watch the bartender work.

Instead of a list you get a deck of cards sorted by spirit and style. Pick one, or tell them what you like and let them build something. Cocktails are about P500, beer P300. Music's quiet, this is a talking bar. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 7PM.

Couples on dates and small groups, mostly late 20s and up. People who'd rather drink one good thing slowly.
