The Scene
Royal is the big one in Poblacion. It's a real nightclub, packed shoulder to shoulder on weekends, with bottle service tables if you plan ahead. Cover is P500 and the dress code is actually enforced, so no shorts and no slippers.
Cocktails run about P500, beer P300. Music is EDM, house and hip-hop, loud enough that you're not having a conversation. Doors open at 10PM but nothing really starts until after midnight. It goes till 5AM.
Young Makati crowd, a lot of expats, and groups out celebrating something. The staff get most of the credit here, and people keep coming back for them.
