If you want something a bit nicer in Katipunan, this lounge is it. Takeover Lounge Bar is dim and comfortable, built for sitting down rather than standing around. It opens at 7PM and runs to 4AM, so it works late.
Cocktails and spirits are the main order, with beer if you'd rather keep it simple. There's food to share while you drink. Music stays at a level where the table can still hear each other.
It skews a little older than the student bars nearby. Young professionals, dates, and groups looking for somewhere decent to end the night.
