Bando

Bando sits in the Makati Central Square basement and it's the city's hip-hop room. Two floors, cave-dark, odd Renaissance art on the fittings, and a sound system that earns its keep.

The booking policy is the whole personality. No EDM, no Top 40 remixes, just local and international DJs on old-school rap and R&B. The kitchen does sushi pizza and sliders if you need something. Thursday to Saturday, 9PM until it's light outside.

Mostly people who came for the music and know what they're getting. Young crowd, lots of regulars. If you want commercial bangers, this is the wrong basement.
