Getting to Cavite

CAVITEX is the way in from Manila. Take it from Roxas Boulevard or Coastal Road, then follow Aguinaldo Highway south. It runs through Bacoor, Imus and Dasmariñas, and most of the bars are on it or close by.

From Alabang or Las Piñas, Daang Hari gets you into Molino in Bacoor. Governor's Drive crosses Dasmariñas into General Trias.

LRT Line 1 now ends at Dr. Santos in Parañaque, just short of Cavite. After that it's a car or a Grab. Plan on an hour from Makati at night.

Before you go

Friday and Saturday are the nights. Weeknights are quiet, and that's when you'll get the good table.

Cavite stays up late. Plenty of bars close at 4 or 5am, and a few are open 24 hours, like Awra Bar 6 and Green Barrels in Bacoor and Bottoms Up in Dasmariñas.

Dress is casual almost everywhere. 767Club, Allagi, Awra Bar 6 and Black Tigers list smart casual.

Cash and GCash work best. Order beer by the bucket if you're a group.

The districts are far apart and there's no train. Pick one district for the night and book your Grab home ahead of time.

Are there 24 hour bars in Cavite?

A few. Awra Bar 6 and Green Barrels in Bacoor are open 24 hours, and so is Bottoms Up in Dasmariñas. Plenty of others close at 4 or 5am.

Is Tagaytay part of Cavite?

Yes. Tagaytay is a city in Cavite, up on the ridge above Taal Lake. The nights there are quieter and colder, so it has its own page with 13 spots.

Where can I do family KTV in Cavite?

Imus has the most. Allagi runs to 5am and High Pitch Music Lounge is in the town center. Up in Tagaytay, Pocholo's has KTV rooms and a sports lounge.

How do I get to Cavite bars from Manila?

Take CAVITEX, then Aguinaldo Highway south. From Alabang, use Daang Hari. LRT Line 1 ends at Dr. Santos in Parañaque, so the last part is always a car or a Grab.
