Laguna's bars follow SLEX south. San Pedro and Biñan come first, then Santa Rosa, Cabuyao and Calamba, with Los Baños at the far end past the expressway. Santa Rosa has the most choice, including Engkanto Taps for craft beer and Last Night Rooftop Bar. Biñan is the live music town, with Mr. BIG Music Lounge and Pasilyo Artist Tavern. Calamba has SILIM 2.0, a comedy bar. Los Baños is a UPLB student town with cheap beer near campus. Things run late here. Parallel in San Pedro and Thumbayan in Biñan stay open until 6am.

Getting to Laguna
SLEX runs through all of it. San Pedro, Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao and Calamba each have their own exit. Calamba is the last one. Los Baños is past it, along the National Highway.
With no traffic, Santa Rosa is about an hour from Makati. Los Baños is about two hours by bus from Buendia.
Bars in each town are spread out. Plan on a car or Grab, and book your ride home before last call.
Before you go
Friday and Saturday are the busy nights. Los Baños gets quiet on semester breaks.
Closing times are all over the place. Some restobars close at 10 or 11pm. Others run to 4, 5 or 6am.
Casual dress works almost everywhere. The lounges, like Tricia's and Mr. BIG, are the only places to dress up a little.
Bring cash. Some bars, like Tricia's in San Pedro and Pasilyo in Biñan, don't take cards.
You'll probably drive. If you're drinking, leave the car and book a Grab.
