Start in Poblacion

If you're new to Manila's nightlife, Poblacion in Makati is where you should start. It's a dense, walkable neighbourhood with 70+ bars within a few blocks of each other. You can bar-hop on foot, stumble into something unexpected, and leave without booking anything.

What to know before you go:

• It gets going around 10pm and peaks at midnight–2am

• Cover charges are rare (most bars are walk-in)

• Dress code is casual — smart casual at the more upscale spots

Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is Manila's upmarket nightlife district. Think The Palace complex with multiple clubs on one campus, rooftop bars with city views, and higher cover charges.

Want Something Different?

Once you've done the obvious spots, Manila rewards going deeper.
